Clonal Hematopoiesis and Co-morbidities: I've developed a high-throughput bioinformatics pipeline that detects somatic mutations in whole exome sequencing. With information about each patient's somatic mutations and clinical background, I studying the connection between clonal hematopoiesis (a precancerous stage) and other co-morbidities, like advanced solid tumors, blood cancers, and rheumatoid arthritis.
